Sullivan funding £35m Birmingham buy out
On Talksport today a bloke was on with Jim White informing that he and money raised by David Sullivan (£35m) is buying Birmingham City.

Anyone else know about this?

Why is our owner spending money on the purchase of other football clubs?

I'm sure Sullivan recognises a fellow bent cunt

Havent followed the detail but wouldnt be surprised if this loan allows him to seize the property assets (ie ground) of Birmingham when the other bent cunt cant/wont pay.
Its always about property and money with Sullivan. Football is just the vehicle

Can imagine how delighted Birmingham fans are that Sullivan & maybe Brady are returning to haunt their club

Exactly my thoughts; gamblers seem to be about the only crowd of people that have a chance of preventing the economy stagflating.

There is going to be two chairmen that are senior football people,” said Bassini on talkSPORT on 15 June, as transcribed by BirminghamLive.

“I’m not saying who I’m bringing in. I will name the board at a press conference and they will all be there.

“There is a woman that will be vice chairman that is a highly respected person. There will be a CEO with vast experience.”

Could this in some way lead to Sully getting a nice slice of the pie once St Andrews has been sold and Brum have been moved into a new athletics stadium with great sight lines?

So Sullivan is stumping up big money to fund the club that he said he had to finally leave because of the actions of its supporters towards himself and family?

You’ve got to admire his principles.

Me too. Only one of the supporters out of ten on our matchday whatsapp group knew of it.

What;s more annoying is we are quibbling over a few mill here and there for players and won;t pay Lingard £7m a season - Yet he's happy to lend £35m to his mater to buy another club.

WTF!

Re: Sullivan fundiing £35m Birmingham buy out
I was a bit surprised that it didn't gain much interest, if I'm honest.

It seems Laurence Bassini is as dodgy as they come, so there's a high chance it could be Sullivan's exit ticket if he gets control of them again if he defaults.
